Eminem or Kanye West? Eminem, even though Shake That makes me angry and I once enjoyed seeing Kanye live in St Louis.

Seasick Steve or Ray Lamontagne? who?

Fleet Foxes or Mumford & Sons? are they?

The Venus de Milo or the Mona Lisa? oh, the Mona Lisa makes me smile

Holbein's Henry VIII or Van Dyck's Charles I? Henry

The Lewis Chessmen or the Sutton Hoo helmet? That helmet is amazing

An oaky chardonnay or a clean crisp Sauv Blanc? Chardonnay

A subtle pinot noir or a full-bodied Malbec? pinot

A dark malty porter or a golden hoppy ale? golden hoppy ale

A walk in the woods or a walk on the beach? I could walk on the beach all day long, just about forever, barefoot, lost

Birdwatching or badger watching? bird

Dawn or dusk? dawn, everything looks and feels better at dawn

Eminem or Kanye West? - No opinion. I don't think I've heard anything by either.

Seasick Steve or Ray Lamontagne? Who?

Fleet Foxes or Mumford & Sons? Who?

The Venus de Milo or the Mona Lisa? Venus.

Holbein's Henry VIII or Van Dyck's Charles I? Definitely Holbein.

The Lewis Chessmen or the Sutton Hoo helmet? The Chessman.

An oaky chardonnay or a clean crisp Sauv Blanc? N/A

A subtle pinot noir or a full-bodied Malbec? N/A

A dark malty porter or a golden hoppy ale? N/A

A walk in the woods or a walk on the beach? Woods - it's easier to have a pee in the woods.

Birdwatching or badger watching? Can I bring a book?

Dawn or dusk? Dusk. Dawn's horrible. Means I have to get out of bed and do stuff. Dusk is warm and most of the stuff that has to be done has been done and it's fun time.

Eminem or Kanye West?

Must I choose? Eminem, I guess, if only because of "Lose Yourself", but I can't really stand either one.

Seasick Steve or Ray Lamontagne?

No clue who they are.

Fleet Foxes or Mumford & Sons?

I know of Fleet Foxes without ever actually hearing them (or if I have, I didn't know it at the time). I do enjoy that Mumford & Sons album, though there's definitely a certain sameness to many of the songs. But them, because I know who they are, and, so far, like them.

The Venus de Milo or the Mona Lisa?

Venus.

Holbein's Henry VIII or Van Dyck's Charles I?

The Van Dyck.

The Lewis Chessmen or the Sutton Hoo helmet?

They're both great. The chessmen are probably more immediately interesting, but that helmet is pretty fierce.

An oaky chardonnay or a clean crisp Sauv Blanc?

I gave up hootch some time ago, and my wine palate never became particularly strong. I know I've had both of these, but probably much less Sauv Blanc than chardonnay. So chardonnay. But boy a lot of you guys really hate white wine, don't you?

A subtle pinot noir or a full-bodied Malbec?

Same preface as above, with the notable difference that I don't believe I ever had a Malbec. I liked pinot noir.

A dark malty porter or a golden hoppy ale?

Porter.

A walk in the woods or a walk on the beach?

Woods. Always woods. The beach is for losers! Okay, not it isn't, but I go to the beach for the ocean, not for the sand.

Birdwatching or badger watching?

If I'd known "badger watching" was actually a thing, I probably would have been doing it for years. As it is, I don't do either.

Dawn or dusk?

Dawn is more impressive, but I almost never see it.

Seasick Steve or Ray LaMontagne?
A tough choice. Seasick Steve playing his three-string trance wonder and the Mississippi drum machine.

Eminem or Kanye West?
Neither, but since it was unfair to pit him against Seasick Steve, I'll pick Ray LaMontagne, better than both Eminem and Kanye West.

Fleet Foxes or Mumford & Sons?
Mumford & Sons.

The Venus de Milo or the Mona Lisa?
Venus de Milo.

Holbein's Henry VIII or Van Dyck's Charles I?
Meh.

The Lewis Chessmen or the Sutton Hoo helmet?
Sutton Hoo helmet.

An oaky chardonnay or a clean crisp Sauv Blanc?
Sauv Blanc, but I'd prefer a red.

A subtle pinot noir or a full-bodied Malbec?
Malbec.

A dark malty porter or a golden hoppy ale?
Porter.

A walk in the woods or a walk on the beach?
Beach - in the morning after work, I used to walk a couple of miles home along the beach in Atlantic City.

Dawn or dusk?
Dawn.

Seasick Steve or Ray LaMontagne?
No idea.

Eminem or Kanye West?
Eminem, by a length. Length of what, do you ask?
I´m not so taken with hiss latest album, but the first three were solid gold almost track for track, the fourth wasn´t bad, 8 Mile was good fun and his early rough material contains some moments of brilliance. Whereas West´s first two albums contain maybe four good tracks in total, and the most you can say since then is Gay Fish...

Fleet Foxes or Mumford & Sons?
No idea.

The Venus de Milo or the Mona Lisa?
Venus de Milo.

Holbein's Henry VIII or Van Dyck's Charles I?
Really tough choice. I guessed which image was the HVIII by subject alone and wanted to say that one, but having now seen CI for the first time... Holbein´s represents perfection of classic regal posturing, but I think Van Dyke´s is the better as a work of art.

The Lewis Chessmen or the Sutton Hoo helmet?
The Chessmen. I think one could get away with playing around with them more than with the other.

An oaky chardonnay, clean crisp Sauv Blanc, subtle pinot noir or full-bodied Malbec?
All normal wines are of equal value to this palate.

A dark malty porter or a golden hoppy ale?
The porter.

A walk in the woods or a walk on the beach?
Woods by a country mile.

Dawn or dusk?
Dawn.
