I thought the standard response for most Hate Mail readers to anything they disagree with is 'It's political correctness gone mad!'

Well, if you want to thoroughly depress yourselves and despair of mankind all together, then take a look at this website and the circulation figures for our national newspapers. It's a year out of date, but I daresay the ranking remains about the same even now. Baiting Daily Mail readers means you're baiting a very large percentage of the newspaper reading population. It runs second, only to The Sun - both leading the race by a ferocious margin. None of the other morning dailies come anywhere near close. Worrying, innit?

I cannot wait for the Borat Film, and to pump myself up I thought I'd post some ridiculous comments at this article:

I'm in there, as 'monochrome'!

monochrome, I can't believe they printed your one saying Borat's views were right on many things! A coup - touche. Well done.

On the subject Nou was writing on,, ie http://www.dailymail.co.uk/pages/liv...#StartComments

I was going to post this tabloidish rant:

While hard-working taxpayers pay for criminal illegal immigrants to swan about on welfare benefits in this country, preaching their politics of hate, ordinary, decent, law-abiding Brits are banned from showing their faith in their own religion.

.. but copped out.

Too kind! Sadly, so far you're right. Here's a new one.

I thought a person was to find out about such things on there night of there wedding and not before with a camera to give to them then. I fear for when there children find there pictures some years form now and don't understand why there parents are in pornographies.

Here are some of the "acceptable" responses:

Photos which will never see the light of day again as a reminder of what he married as opposed to what he now lives with.
- Ryk, london

How tacky and common.
- Alice, London

This is nothing but very expensive porn. What is the world comming to?
- Steve, Forest Hill

She looked gorgeous both clothed and unclothed.
Johnathan is a lucky man indeed.
- Steve & Sarah, Darwen Lancs.

To Alice - London.
I wonder if you'd look so good naked, by your reaction I'm guessing not.
- Rimmel, Notts UK

Come on - I've got to stand a chance! Also this:

Why not a portrait in oils? I mean, a clothed one you could hang over the mantlepiece and show your grandchildren?
- Leonie, Midlands

That's what I was saying!

Perhaps Amner could revive his right-wing alter-ego for a little bit of fun?

Nou, re

SPOILER: I thought a person was to find out about such things on there night of there wedding and not before with a camera to give to them then. I fear for when there children find there pictures some years form now and don't understand why there parents are in pornographies.

I laughed a lot at this - but perhaps they didn't believe it because there weren't enough grammatical errors for a tabloid reader?

Or maybe the wording at the end (pornographies) made them think you might be (gasp, shock horror) foreign, ie a murderous machete weilding illegal immigrant?

How many times must I misuse the word "there" before I qualify as tabloidal? Fair enough, if it was the Grauniad then one error would do (such as the signature appearance of "form", which I have mis-included in all my entries in the hope of creating a consistent voice for the DM's Mods to grow to recognise and love) but I put there to use as "the", "their" and even "these" - and still nothing! Maybe if I resubmit without the full stop and apostrophe...
