Try it and see what happens, HP. Maybe the link isn't clickable in Preview mode?

You haven't got Javascript turned off have you? In Firefox it's Tools > Options > Content. Having that turned off stops all sorts of usefulnesses.

Well curiouser and curiouser! Last night's problems seem to have disappeared. Guess either I or my compoot - or YouTube - were having a funny half-hour. It isn't as if the clip is even that riveting either - it's just that over on the I Am Mary Dunne thread, and talking with Monika about the GALMI solution, I wanted a visual to show what I meant by 'having a Margot moment'. (Now, all very by-the-by now and distinctly previous)

Anyhoo, after all that, here it is:

What I still can't do, however, is use the hyperlink icon and get that to work with it. Not that it matters, but any clues?

No, but thanks for the pointer, JM. I've never checked out the FF Options boxes. Just done some useful tweaking - I owe you!

I'm not in need of help(well, not unless you can fix my iffy spacebar at long range...) but with all these recent issues popping up, I thought I'd mention this. Just over the last few weeks I've noticed that the "Unread Posts" icon doesn't reset itself very consistently. Sometimes it seems to be flagging posts I've made, sometimes it doesn't seem to be flagging anything at all. It's inconsistent, so it seems unlikely to be a software issue - but I only noticed it after someone mentioned that there was a new version of vBulletin being released; you don't think... industrial sabotage..?

EDIT:Yep it did it withthis one.

I've found that sometimes, Nou - but especially if I double-click it to mark a forum read: sometimes it just doesn't want to acknowledge that I've read everything there.
