Sacrificed a good chunk of sleep last night to read all of this. Sacrifice being the crucial word. The option of reading 275 pages and then having to take it up another night for another 275 filled me with horror (weren't we meant to be reading slighter shorter novels in this group?) and I grudgingly ploughed on.

As you can tell, I didn't like it very much...and right now toast and jam sounds a better option than skimping a review.
