Default Multiple IDs

This may be covered somewhere on the user agreement which you click when you register, but just in case it's not, please note the following:

Multiple user identities on Palimpsest are prohibited. Anyone found to be posting under two or more different IDs will be banned.

I realise it was perhaps not the most brilliant idea of mine to spark off a series of flippant remarks about what is in fact a potentially serious ontological issue.
I find the idea of two different personæ turning out to be one and the same biological person distinctly creepy.
(It happens rather brilliantly in Aldomovar's High Heels, remember? But Doppelgänger in fiction and film would require a separate thread...)

Well, no, a separate one would presumably not be this one...
But then I don't really see where else this one can go...?

PS Amner, how come your traffic light is purple when you're on-line??
