I google it. Much easier. But there's a clue in the handle of the gun. Not much of a clue, granted, but a clue ne'ertheless.

Hmm - that's why I said Butch Cassidy, because of the smiley face . . . a western, but with a wry comic twist, is what I thought. Obviously not. Back to the drawing board . . .

The fire coming out of the gun looks like it contains a skull of the "Mexican-Day-of-the-Dead" variety. But now I think I really am reading too much into it. I can't shake a Sergio Leone vibe, but the word "Amerykanski" is right there on the poster, so I guess that's out.

Not to shoot the quiz in the foot or anything, but the title is right there on the poster too. I wasn't paying enough attention when I went through them all blurring them out.

Congratulations to Bill and BiNS with four each, honourable mentions to Stradlater and Amner for picking up the pieces.

Another? I've got one ready...

First, a brief history lesson. L'il Nou asked a Polish pal to patter pertinently on the posterly puhfenomenon and was provided with the proceeding:

The site (which I will link to as soon as I've got these quizzes out of my system and no-one can use them to cheat (if you haven't already tracked it down that is!)) also has posters for non-cinematic projects, including music, theatre and circus.

Right, fun's over, time to work. Bit trickier now, I'm starting to pick them for their interestingness as much as for any obvious (or even passing) connection to the film in question, so there's no shame in asking for clues. When the time comes. Just brace yourself for the "difficult" section!

Polski Film Plakaty
Part Two: Intermediate

1 Rosemary's Baby

2 Working Girl

3 Someone To Watch Over Me

4 Tootsie

5 The Witches of Eastwick

6 Dirty Dancing

7 The Omen

8 Duel

9 Fatal Attraction

10 Trading Places
