OK, so the end of s4 was one of the TV moments of the last view years. An absolutely fantastic coming together of plot, themes, visuals, the lot. It gives the impression, and I don't know whether they intended this or have just been very lucky, or what, but it's as if they wrote all 46 episodes just to get to that point, because everything harmonises. Some of the most ambitious and satisfying telly I think I've ever seen.

Which begs the question, just what is s5 for? I guess I'll find out.

You will. Halfway over now, and I have to wait until August for the other half. Believe me when I say it won't be easy.

C'mon, Amner, just watch the first episode of s5. You know you want to. You can watch just one, and then leave the rest for this summer.

No, no, I'm in. Up to episode 5 after a blitz last night. The guys are talking next to a railroad track (how's that for keeping it spoiler free?).

I'm nodding, I'm seeing the attraction here. It's still working away, luring me in.

I now have to wait until 25th November for the last 8 episodes to be released on DVD.

Got to thank Nou and Amner for their encouraging words in getting me to watch Breaking Bad in the first place. Since watching each season I've been foisting the box set on friends who are now hooked.

Everything about it is wonderful - the acting, the storylines, the cinematography. I've been limitimg myself (mostly) to just one episode each evening. I know I'll be sad when it is all over.

Completely different to my approach. I watched all 62 episodes in five days. Think that says everything for what I thought of it.

Why wait until the end of November? You can sign up to Netflix for the 30 day free trial, watch them, and then cancel the subscription.
