It also features a series of African novel covers with the comment:"The covers of most novels about Africa seem to have been designed by someone whose principal idea of the continent comes from The Lion King."

Haha, that African selection makes me laugh - I've done quite a few 'African' book covers and the one thing every Art Director always says in the brief is "avoid dusty reds" because it's too much of a stereotype! I have however painted many trees just like those... oh dear.
Actually one of those books is by an author I've done several covers for (but not that one).
