It's a conditional statement in the navbar template, Wavid.

There's the following bit of code:

Code:
<if condition="$show['member']">
	<td class="vbmenu_control"><a href="search.php?$session[sessionurl]do=getnew" accesskey="2">$vbphrase[new_posts_nav]</a></td>
	<else />
	<td class="vbmenu_control"><a href="search.php?$session[sessionurl]do=getdaily" accesskey="2">$vbphrase[todays_posts]</a></td>
	</if>

Default Trouble with IE log in

All day today I've been prevented from logging in using Internet Explorer. Mozilla works okay, password is okay, the site even showed me as already logged in for a while, strangely. I tried rebooting, clearing cookies, changing password. Any ideas?

When you say 'prevented from logging in,' you mean you can't access the site at all, or it won't accept your username/password...? I'm in on IE now, though I usually use Firefox. Perhaps this is Wavid's way of whittling down the IE users, seeing as how he hates it so much...

It is working fine for me, knovella, when I test it in IE. Am afraid nothing has changed that might affect this, and no, it isn't part of my FireFox campaign!

Am afraid it must be something at your end. Have you changed your security settings recently?

Have moved this into the Issues and Problems thread.

This is a small peculiar issue.... when I sign in recently, look at forums pootle about in a general way, whenever I return to the home page for whatever reason, the little info box beneath my digger pic tells me there are 4 new posts, regardless of whether there are or not! Or maybe these 4 new posts are in some secret forum I cannot access, which makes me curious, or maybe they're 4 spiderbot posts than no-one can see!

Where are these 4 new posts?! And if they're not there, why does it say they are?

They are probably in a secret forum that Wavid uses for strange doings.
