Ah, but Ted Eshbaugh also directed a film called The Wizard of Oz in 1933, the same year he directed the unforgettable Goofy Goat Antics. And Jack Simon directed The Wizard of Oz in 1991, the same year he directed Jack and the Beanstalk Then again, there's Paul Miller who did The Wizard of Oz on Ice in 1966, the same year he directed Champions on Ice.

It's no good posting these qustions with multiple possible answers.

And apparently Larry Semon (I hope that's pronounced how I think it is) directed Wizard of Oz the same year he directed The Dome Doctor, The Cloudhopper, My Best Girl and the wonderfully titled The Plumber's Daughter. Fabulous.

Which famous author wrote a children's book set in the geographical area that we now call "The Former Yugoslavia", and what was the book called?

Nope.

A clue... the author is the brother of another (part-time) author.

I'm going to have to hurry you....

I'm very pleased that Google doesn't appear to reveal the answer. How unusual.
