And what the blinkin' heck are kitten heels?

I know that I don't own any!

They're the ones with the teeny-weeny heel on a fairly low court shoe. Like balancing on a golfing tee.

Forgive me Palimp, for I'm about to sin:

Of course I own some, but they are green...and sparkly...with...

My copy of Clear arrived this morning and I'm aiming to blast through it in fairly short order...

I have no kitten heels. I'm rubbish at heels. I have met transvestities more adept at heels than I.

Why are they kitten heels? Because they're only small enough to impale a kitten on?

Perhaps the implication is (sex-)kitten? Although whoever came up with idea of associating kittens with sex must have had some serious issues...

Yes. I hadn't thought of that. Is paedo-zoophilia a word?

I have spent 20 hours on trains in the past three days, so unsurprisingly I found the time to finish Clear. My mind is slightly befuddled, however, so I will leave proper contributions to this thread to another day.

I am two thirds through it, hoping to finish tonight or tomorrow.
So far - really, really enjoying it, though am seeing where Col is coming from about not liking it. However, I think I am liking it, to use the italics that pepper it so frequently.

All a bit nebulous in my head at the moment. Will finish, absorb, think, and post.
