Announcing ISSUE 3 of Mythaxis.

Come on, Palimpers. Let's have some submissions for the next edition. Junkmonkey continues to contribute the excellent cartoon!

First, apologies for saying to you "I'd like to contribute" and then failing to send anything.

However, in a little bit of my own news, I'm about to take a mighty step back from the company I've been running/working for over the last few years in order to do better things with my time, like learn more than twenty words in Spanish, maybe get a TEFL qualification, and devote some proper time to writing again. So, this is me saying "I'd like to contribute"... again...

That's good nous, Nou. Does this mean that others will be involved in the day to day responsibilities and you're free to roam the countryside in lace pantalets?

Sort of. I've hired another friend (well, friend of a friend this time) to do what it is I've been doing for five years over all and for two years through my own company. She starts on Friday 18th, so then I'll be saving myself up for emergency cover and looking for something else to pay the bills in Spain. TEFL if possible, although I suffer somewhat from the use-it-but-lack-technical-knowledge-of-it syndrome that occasionally afflicts the native Englisher speaker. But, assuming that is what happens, I'll have a month or so to read up on my own language first. Time which I shall also be using to try and learn Spanish properly, leading to linguistic schizophrenia no doubt.

One of my sisters did TEFL for years and lived near Brest. Both of her children graduated from, I think, Charles or Czech University and somehow were able to go there as a result of her teaching. Not sure on the details as they are back stateside, but she loved TEFL.

I read The Conquest of the Earth by the Moon in Mythaxis last night and really enjoyed it. JunkMonkey's stuff is always good. Has he moved to Whitby?
