There was mention in another report of that same story, that 'ho ho ho' was "too frightening" - because the infants of today aren't used to it.

Any more frightening than cackling 'ha ha ha'?

I'd be more inclined to be incensed whoever started to use the awful term of 'ho' to apply to women anyway.
