Yes, if only because it will take your mind off it (/him/her) and give you a whole new set of problems to think about.

Is 'best' synonomous with 'easiest' here?

Even if it doesn't work, it's an interesting distraction

Yes, but only if you don't lemmingly choose someone else who stomps on you in exactly the same way that your ex did.

Hmmm. This "recovery recipe" makes a flat pancake. Just sweeps emotions aside temporarily and puts a flimsy bandaid on. The best way is to grieve and let go. Takes time and is messy, but essential. Keeps the lines clean and doesn't involve others who might want more than just someone to get on top of. Or under, or...hell, I'm turned upside down here worse than JFK Jr on night pilot.

Which would she be, though? The one he's trying to get over, or under?

Probably under, knowing Parsnip, who has been fixated on Julie Reinger, I believe, for some time....

Good luck, parsnip. If you succeed, it gives 'getting under the weather' a whole new meaning...

A bit like the old chestnut, what's the difference between a man and a shower? Best to find out before you get under one.
