Default Great Writers I Never Liked

We all have 'em. Even while we concede their talent and even appeal, something about their style, subject matter, whatever, prevents us from being able to appreciate them.

This year, I am going to make a serious attempt a reading at least two books by three authors I never liked to see if I now "get it"

These will be

Philip Roth
Julain Barnes
Virginia Woolf (just NOT Mrs. Dallaway)

Yeah.

I'm going to try and remedy it though!

Oryx

Edit: maybe I'll replace Barnes (he's not really great, anyway) and and add Fyodor.
