Oh no hard feelings at all! I fear I would not have been able to compete with that anyway. :D

Ah, yes - such a delightful visual concept. From the the primitive school of art, wouldn't you say? Love the synergistic symbolism of the planet sporting a nipple. Or is it a bung? And, of course, we art-lovers will interpret the rider's reins appearing to be attached to the creature's eyeball as both moving and deeply significant. Others might merely call it cruel, but hey! What would such bourgeois pedants know anyway ...

And how 'interesting' to orient the cover in landscape not portrait - I do hope the printers are able to cope!

I am sure they will! I expect Publisher has an option to cover it, and the printer in the office here is quite sophisticated.

Hang on, is this a PM or a public message? Bollocks!

No, amner. Be not a Doubting Thomasina. Have faith. Great art is frequently the love-child of chaos and ineptitude. No - the more I look at that ... that ... that sublimity of technicolour, the more I find homage being paid to the likes of, well, the likes of say, Gauguin ... or is that Gunga din?

Surely it's a representation of last year's Transit of Venus, clearly illustrating the parallels between that distant star system of A'Rafat and our own.

No, HP was right. It's a nipple.
