The Sarah McLachlan version is a cover, originally off an XTC tributes album, but essentially yes... :D

I only know it because a programmer I used to work with played The Smiths incessantly and Billy Bragg about once a day on a very audible portable cassette player 'cos he couldn't handle headphones or plugs. I hate them all! I never wanted to know what they were called.

I've now made an exception, and looked it up on Google. Do you want me to say, or shall we leave it for someone who doesn't need artificial assistance.
