Default The Design thread

We've got an architecture thread, a book covers thread, and several 'art' threads, but I couldn't find a generalised 'design' thread, so I thought I'd start one. I imagine it'll showcase chiefly product or graphic design issues...

Anyway, to get the ball rolling, take a look at the UK's new Supreme Court logo, or emblem, or whatever you call it.

I only noticed it after reading this story on the BBC News site this morning.

I have to be honest, I don't really like it. Too weak, I'd say, and yet strangely crowded, too. Certainly I'm no fan of the large omega symbol. Looks a bit American, too. Anyway, what does everyone else think?
