Default Re: The Book Group: November 2007 - March 2008

I've been wondering something and it's about time I asked. Why do men who join in on the book read not join in more on the discussion? Look at the latest book, The Easter Parade. At the moment, there are 41 posts by women and 4 by men.

Judith Hearne and Blackwater Lightship and Dr Haggard's Disease, I thought, generated excellent discussion, but this one seemed to have died before it really got started. Was this just not a good choice for discussion, or has the idea of a book group discussion lost its momentum?

These are really two separate issues, as I'm sure women are capable of keeping a discussion going without the men joining in, but it would be nice to hear a bit more from everyone who joins in on the read.
