Frankly seems a bit barmy to me. I just hope they don't test the staff.
Up in the right corner, Notty, under 'video', it says 'Both teachers and pupils will be tested at random'.
The probable outcome I guess is that teachers will stop and pupils will take their chances.

Missed that. Although it appears that you have to volunteer to be tested, so you'd be daft to do so just after toking a joint behind the bike-sheds.

There was a bit about it on Radio 4 this morning. Apparently there are concerns that if the kids know they're going to be tested, they'll forsake cannabis as it stays in the system for so long and move on to harder drugs so they don't get caught by the tests.
Yes. Of course. That makes a lot more sense than just refusing to participate.

There are plenty ways (so I've heard) to beat a test for marijuana. But if it's a volunteer test, why bother?

i'm wondering how long it will take for a kid to test positive, claim innocence and start sueing the school.
