3.7 Billion per day between now and Christmas

Heard this on the financial news last night.

"Americans are going the way of their government. The projected amount of dollars being put on credit cards PER DAY, by American shoppers. between now and Christmas, is 3.7 billion."

In my mind, we aught to skip Christmas this year and send all those billions to innocent families in Iraq. Primarly so that they can once again sleep under a roof and drink clean water.

My Christmas is going to be very small.........tiny in fact !

Thank you for that. Quite scary, but totally believeable. We live in a land of spending beyond ones needs and means; fascinating given the deficit. I think that I too shall have a small Christmas. (But of course, it cannot be helped for I am but a student.)
